WHAT WE DO

SPCI is a full service general contractor with licenses in the City of Denver and Greenwood Village along with multiple surrounding local jurisdictions. The owners have a combined experience of over 75 years of managing successful companies performing general construction, Title II Construction Management, facility operations, and consulting. However, SPCI will focus on tenant improvement and will work with the property owners, leasing agents, construction managers, property managers, or new lease holders to upgrade floor plans and items such as office size, lighting, fire life safety systems, improve and or move HVAC systems and components, electrical outlets, ceiling tiles, carpet, paint, drywall, glazing and carpentry.

We manage all stages of the project, from the pre-design phase through construction and completion. SPCI has well-established alliances with property owners, brokers, architects, structural engineers, and specialized trades people. In addition, SPCI personnel also have a well-established reputation throughout the community for doing high quality work on schedule and within established budgets.

Michael Buck

CEO/President

Mr. Buck has been a leader in the Denver area construction industry for more than 25 years, focusing commercial, government and retail construction. He is experienced in gaining official approvals and effectively scheduling and monitoring work and subcontractors. Mr. Buck has proven abilities in management, estimating, budgeting, contract writing, purchasing, ordering, layout, and invoicing, as well as a strong ability to coordinate, direct, and communicates with clients, brokers, architects, developers, subcontractors, inspectors, and City officials. His industry experience as a Construction Manager includes a high level of commercial build-out projects, which won the 2012 Project Achievement Award from Colorado Chapter CMAA. Mr. Buck has also been involved with numerous large-scale projects, over the years. Mr. Buck holds multiple Contractor Licenses throughout the Front Range of Colorado.

Brian Mitchell

COO

Mr. Mitchell has been in the construction industry for over 25 years managing commercial (ground-up and tenant finish), retail, medical/dental, restaurant, multi-family and government sector projects across the country.  He is skilled in the organization and implementation of all phases of a project; including site evaluation, preconstruction, budgeting, due diligence, estimating, scheduling, cost control, project management, permitting and negotiations of contracts & change orders to deliver projects on time and budget.  Brian is Construction Quality Management (CQM) and OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER certified.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from Colorado State University.

Steve Udden

Senior Superintendent

Mr. Udden has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Having started as a laborer he has gained the knowledge and experience in most trades necessary to effectively manage today’s workers and subcontractors. Mr. Udden has supervised the construction of major hotels, national restaurant chains, office and warehouse buildings and tenant finish projects ranging in price from $5,000 to over $5M. He currently holds International Code Council Certifications Residential C #268218256 and Commercial B #269557869 allowing him to be licensed in most jurisdiction in the US.

Catie Fox Mott

Director of Administration and Accounting

Ms. Fox Mott is the Director of Administration and Accounting responsible for all matters related to accounting, billing, collections, customer service, account management and human resources. She poses outstanding organizational, communication, and customer service skills and is an expert at finding new and effective ways to get the job done. Ms. Fox Mott has excellent and proven abilities in maintaining consistent, accurate and sharp decision making while working in a fast paced work environment. She is responsible for the management of all A/P, A/R, collections, office management and billing, including superintendent billing. She maintains SPCI plans, prepares and forecast all budgets, reconciles financial statements monthly. Ms. Fox Mott manages and oversees all disbursements, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll processing, corporate and payroll taxes, and process all 1099’s.
